Just For Fun: It’s a Bear!

Sunday morning Kirk and I were in a cabin at Lake Tahoe with our friends. We were talking with one of our hosts, who was standing and sipping coffee next to his big, furry, loveable, old dog.

I had just made a flattering comment about the dog when Kirk said, “Bear.”

There was a moment of silence when I thought, “What the heck is he talking about?”

And I thought, “Oh, he must mean the dog is like a big, cuddly, fluffy teddy bear, which he certainly is!”

That’s when Kirk said, “There’s…a…bear…outside…the…cabin!”
